with the University of Northern Colorado’s

Pride of the Rockies Marching Band as we make history! 

We are attempting to set a record in the Guinness Book of World Records
by attempting to have the most people ever on the field dancing to

Saturday, November 8, 2008

Participating students will be dancing to Michael Jackson’s
Thriller
as taught by the UNC Sugar Bears Dance Team
(please do not bring instruments).


Schedule of Events

8:00 – 9:00am          

Check in at Nottingham Practice Field

At check in, participants and directors will receive a complimentary game ticket, a souvenir t-shirt, and lunch ticket.  Check in is required as we must submit all participant names to the Guinness Book of World Records

9:00 – 10:30am  

Learn choreography with the UNC Sugar Bears Dance Team

REHEARSAL IS MANDATORY!  It is imperative that all participants on the field perform the choreography in order for their performance to be counted by the Guinness Book of World Records.

10:30 – 11:30am                 

Lunch Provided

All participants will receive a ticket to eat at Holmes Dining Hall for lunch.  Participants are also encouraged to bring money for the concession stands for snacks during the game.

11:30am                          

Find your seats in Nottingham Stadium (Tickets Provided)

Tickets will be for General Admission Seating. 

12:05pm                          

Game Kickoff – UNC vs. Eastern Washington

All participants must be in the stadium from the start of the game through the half-time performance.

1:15pm                           Line up to enter stadium for half time performance.
1:30pm    

Perform Thriller (approximate time)

1:45pm                          

Return to seats for second half of game (approximate time)

4:00pm 

Game Over (approximate time)

  

Parking
Parking in the J Lot is free.  All busses attending are encouraged to park in J Lot.
There will be a $5 parking fee to park at Nottingham Stadium (Lots L, M & Y).

Non-dancers will need to purchase their game tickets and pay for their own lunch.  Game tickets are $14 and can be ordered by calling  (970) 351-4849. Lunch at Holmes Dining Hall is $9.50 and can be paid for when you arrive.

Be sure to dress for the weather! Jeans and tennis shoes are recommended. A t-shirt will be given to you when you check in on November 8th.
