Nelson says, “I consider myself very fortunate to have spent my professional career designing and facilitating opportunities for individuals to engage in creative self-expression. From the Arts Center pre-school, to drawing classes for retirees, to connecting individuals with UNC arts, I’ve been engaged as a teacher, manager, promoter and cheerleader for community access, learning and participation across the arts disciplines.”
