Making a Contribution

Talented. Creative. Inspired.
These words are often used when describing artists, whether they are musicians, painters, dancers or actors. The magic produced by artists seems to spring, fully-formed, from the heart and mind of the creative spirit.
Too often we fail to remember the many hours of lessons, classes, practice and rehearsals, the many versions of drawings, the many discarded pots. Artistry is hard work, inspired by gifts, but enabled by repetition, dedication and instruction.
The artists of tomorrow come to UNC to work diligently on their skills and to nurture their creativity. Your gift can support that instruction, or inspire that spirit. Scholarships are essential to assist students in attending college, and to enable the University in recruiting high-caliber young artists. Donations can also be targeted toward one of many projects, from the visit of a guest artist or instructor to the purchase of equipment, supplies, or instruments.
Your gift can take the form most convenient to you - a gift of cash, the endowment of a scholarship, a gift of stock, or a bequest in your estate. For information on how you can make a gift to support the University of Northern Colorado College of Performing and Visual Arts, contact the UNC Foundation at 970.351-2304 or e-mail Valerie.Hunt@unco.edu
Patrons have long been the life-blood of the arts - the artists of tomorrow are hoping you will remain dedicated to helping them assume their place in the future.
