Richard Fuchs is an active performer and member of the Fuchs Duo, performing in recitals on major university campuses. He is frequently invited to perform at conventions, such as the International Contemporary Music Festival in Buenos Aires, Argentina. The Duo has performed in Japan and Taiwan. Fuchs' United States premiere of the Terzian Violin Concerto was recorded on the Consentino Label, and is being distributed throughout the United States, South America, Europe, and Asia. Mr. Fuchs has served as president of the Colorado Chapter of the American String Teachers Association and is a frequent conductor of all-state orchestras. A member of UNC's Colorado Arts resident quartet, Mr. Fuchs received his Master of Music degree from the University of Illinois and has studied with Franco Gulli, Paul Rolland, and Andre Granat.
