Keyboard Study at UNC
The University of Northern Colorado School of Music offers degree programs designed to develop your talents and abilities to their fullest. Private Study
Central to the entire curriculum at UNC is the special relationship developed between you and your teacher during weekly lessons. These sessions serve as the basis for thoughtful evaluation of your present needs and a gradual formation of your future goals. As you study and perform with fine faculty and student musicians in many settings, you will develop mutual respect, understanding and friendships—the types of bonds that are so rewarding within a community of artists.
Performance Opportunities
UNC sponsors more than 50 ensembles, a number of which have received national acclaim. Performing organizations include:

- Wind and Chamber Ensembles
- Symphonic and Concert Band
- Symphony and Chamber Orchestras
- Musical Theatre and Opera Orchestras
- Vocal and Instrumental Jazz Ensembles and Combos
Guest Artists
As an instrumental major at UNC, you will have the opportunity to attend performances, clinics and master classes featuring outstanding guest artists such as Mischa Dichter, Lorin Hollander, Grant Johannesen, Anton Kuerti and Jeffrey Siegel. You also will have an opportunity to see and hear outstanding artists
in other fields.
