Ensembles

The Concert Choir is comprised of 75 singers and is open to all UNC students by audition. The Concert Choir performs a wide range of choral literature, from the classics to music of contemporary composers. Widely recognized for its excellence as a performing ensemble, the Concert Choir is in demand for guest appearances throughout the region. The Choir presents concerts on campus each semester.

Men's Glee Club is open to UNC and community men, providing an opportunity for participation in the great tradition of men's ensemble singing. The Men's Glee Club performs a wide range of literature for university and community audiences, and is one of the largest collegiate male choral organizations in the West.

Women's Glee Club is open to UNC and community women with previous choral experience. The 120 member Women's Glee Club, one of the largest female collegiate groups in the United States, performs a wide variety of exciting choral literature specifically composed for female choral ensembles. In addition to their own concert presentations, they join the Men's Glee Club to perform major works for mixed chorus.

The University Singers is a group of 40 singers that performs an extremely varied repertoire, from Renaissance motets to contemporary works, conducted exclusively by graduate choral conducting students.

Juventus Vocal Ensemble is a select, sixteen-member group of the highest musical excellence, specializing in works for chamber choir from all periods of music history.

Feminae Schola Cantorum is a select female chamber choir specializing in Gregorian Chant, Renaissance polyphony, Contemporary choral music and Latin
