Scientific and Cultural Facilities District (SCFD)/Scientific and Cultural Collaborative: In 1988, voters in the Denver metro area created the SCFD to provide a consistent source of funding to over 300 scientific and cultural organizations. SCFD produces a teachers’ guide to arts & cultural field trips, workshops, performances and tours in the Metro Denver area.
