What is AEIC?
A nationally recognized professional development institute for educators, artists, and administrators to:
Reignite passion for teaching and find renewed joy in the classroom.
Discover ways to equip students with 21st century skills such as innovation, communication, collaboration, and critical thinking.
AEIC for Classroom and Arts Teachers: Arts Integrated Approaches to Education
Participate in hands-on workshops with 5 master teaching artists to discover how to integrate arts-based practices into everyday teaching.
Collaborate with arts integration specialists to connect and apply artistic experiences to the standards-based curriculum.
AEIC for School Administrators and Arts Coordinators:
Leadership for the 21st Century: Using Creativity to Build Effective Schools
Explore how to create, support, and sustain educational environments that
foster creativity, innovation, student engagement, and 21st century skills.
Connect research-based practices and artistic experiences to help participants meet standardized assessment goals without boring, standardized routines.
Institute Fee:
Early-bird rate = $375 before April 25, 2012
Regular rate = $400
50% of payment is expected with registration; balance is due by June 15, 2012.

Credit:
Participants receive 35 contact hours toward CDE license renewal.
