Connie Bethards specializes in philosophical approaches, methods and
materials for providing art making experiences to individuals who have
disabilities. She also researches “inclusion” practices
in public schools. Bethards leads the Art Education Program in which
she teaches many of the art education courses and supervises student
teachers. Her studio work is in drawing, painting and metalworking.
